Styrian delicacies are prepared seasonally and according to oldtradition using sustainable produce. We bow to our grandparents and great grandparents as we cook their almost forgotten recipes like "Styrian Klach (pork) Soup with Horseradish".
Classics like "Gamey Pork Schnitzel with Pumpkin Seed Breading" or "Gamey Pork Roast in Caraway Juices" are old standbys, whereas "Graz Häuptel (lettuce) Salad" and "Filled Peppers" are of course only seasonally available.
When it comes to drinking, we'll tell you the plain truth. In addition to the known brands, we also aim to introduce you to young Styrian winemakers who have more and more to do with "organic wine". Wines and juice from Styrian fruit growers as well as alcohol from the Reinischkogel distillery are produced according to the green model.
